Is It OK To Buy?
AboutFrançais

A second opinion before you pay

Second-hand apps make buying fast. That's great, until it's a scam, a price that's too high, or a purchase your budget didn't need. This site slows you down for one minute and gives you a calm verdict.

From listing to verdict

  1. 1

    You show the listing

Paste the link, add screenshots, or type the details. Seller info comes from a screenshot of their profile.

  2. 2

    Fixed rules check the item

Price against market value, condition, seller age and reviews, and classic scam patterns.

  3. 3

    You describe your situation

Tight month or comfortable, impulse or planned, to use or to resell. How often you'll really use it.

  4. 4

    Mamie gives her opinion

Our AI reviewer reads the same facts and adjusts the score a little, up or down, with pros, cons and advice.

  5. 5

    You get a verdict

A score out of 100 and a plain answer, from STRONG BUY to POSSIBLE SCAM.

Rules first, Mamie second

  • Transparent rules

The score is a fixed calculation. The same listing and answers always give the same rules score.

  • A small nudge

Mamie can move the score by at most 10 points. She advises; she doesn't decide.

  • Scams stay scams

When the rules see a scam pattern, the score is capped at 29, and Mamie can't lift it out.

What happens to your data

  • No account, no cookies, no ads.
  • Each check is logged on our server with your IP address (the listing, your answers and the verdict) to fix problems and improve the site. Logs are deleted after 90 days.
  • For Mamie's review, the listing and your answers are sent to an AI service.
  • Mamie's reviews are limited per day so the site stays free. Past the limit you still get the rules score.

What it isn't

  • Not financial advice: a second opinion, you decide.
  • Not affiliated with Vinted, eBay or leboncoin.
  • Not a guarantee: a clean score doesn't prove a seller is honest.
